Best trips to take at Siem Reap

This list is merely sample of the wonderful things to see and do with Gim – contact him for more details

Angkor Wat Temple complex

The Angkor Wat Temple complex is one of the Worlds marvels.
This temple complex, the largest religious structure in the world was built in 12th century.  It is great to visit at sunrise and take pictures of the complex back-lit by the rising sun.
Gim can recommend an English speaking guide to help you, or just research before and walk around.
Tickets for 1 day to 7 days can be purchased inline at: https://angkorenterprise.gov.kh/

Bayon and Ta Prohm Temples

These temples are close to Angkor Wat and can be visited on the same day, and a within the cost of the ticket for Angkor Wat.
At Bayon Temple, there is a conservation project including studying the monkeys.
Ta Prohm Temple was where the Tomb Raider film was produced and has some beautiful trees growing into the fabric of the temple building.

Kamoong Pluk Floating Village

Gim would recommend this tour before some of the others, as the money from the tickets sold here benefit the local community, whereas some other just benefit big companies. If you take the trip, do take a mask to filter out the dust from the roadway. A power boat, driven by a local, will take you down the river to the lake and row boat tours of the swampy areas and a crocodile farm can also be visited on this trip.

Apsara Dance Performance with meal

This show is a beautiful example of Cambodiam culture.  For a very low price ticket, it is a great show with some excellent buffet food dinner.
Gim will call and get you a good table at the front section of the venue if you give him some notice
